In order for my students to be better prepared for higher education, they should be introduced to more technology and use it on a daily basis. They are being assessed on computers, but they have limited access to it in the classroom. I want to incorporate more technology into my lessons, and this project will help me achieve my goal. My students deserve access to more technology. They will be expected to type stories and passages and solve performance tasks on a computer. In order for my students to be prepared for these types of assessments, I must integrate more technology in my lessons/centers. This project will help me reach my goal of better preparing my 2nd graders for higher education by integrating more technology with the use of Chromebooks.
