As a teacher in a Title 1 school, I find it very important to take the worry of supplies off of my children. I do not want my students getting off of the bus worrying about what will happen when they do not have something as basic as a pencil. The poverty level is very high in our area and money is tight in their houses. Having access to pencils, erasers, glue and other basic supplies is a major factor for low-income students. This project will truly make a difference in our classroom considering my students work hard all year and use up most of the supplies we have access to. We will be able to take the stress of supplies away from the kids and focus on their learning and growing them to their fullest potential!

About my class
