Reading books aloud to students is at the heart of what we do in our classroom. Providing students with at least one quality book read aloud to them each day can be a challenge. It is crucial that the texts read across several days are connected to deepen the students' comprehension and way that they view books. My students will learn how to critically understand, evaluate, and critique books in a manner that will support them as they become effective and efficient readers, writers, and thinkers.

About my class
