I have seen firsthand the positive influence art has over an elementary student, seeing the excitement and pride over something they created is the best experience as a teacher. Art can motivate, inspire, and help students develop skills they use in other subjects such as Math, Reading, even Social Studies. My students love hands-on learning and this project will help me provide the needed materials to express themselves artistically and learn in new ways. The diverse materials needed for this project will help build the art program, engage students in new ways, and help inspire my students to create and explore Art!

About my class
