Developing a growth mindset and social emotional learning will support my students on their path to strengthening skills. The books will help me deliver a literature rich classroom. With these new books, my students and I will read them for whole group discussion especially during morning meeting. Also, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading as well as develop a growth mindset along with social emotional learning. My students have shown reading growth over the past year and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.

About my class
