These books will help enhance the atmosphere that I am striving to create in my classroom. I want my classroom library to become a home for my students where they are able to connect to the world around them. During independent reading time, students will be able to choose books that are on their independent reading level. Books are one way to help students connect to the world around them and can provide a space that students will thrive in. By being able to choose books that are interesting to them, students will enjoy reading a little bit more. The books in this collection are on a variety of reading levels so all students will be able to find a book that is interesting and something they feel comfortable reading.
