This project is filled with different types of materials. First- the main thing our classroom is in need of is some furniture. Our classroom has a few tables and some desks. We have one old shelf that has like many of us seen better days. We would like to create a happy environment where students feel comfortable and safe. The district does not have any furniture for us to use at this time. The next thing we are requesting are materials to learn more about ourselves and our roles in the world. We would like to learn and focus on vocabulary about our body, our interests, our families, and our communities. Inclusion and diversity are important and we need to teach students explicitly about these topics.

About my class
