Our Head Start program is not part of a public school and we do not have a library. Every class has some paperback books that the children can take home every week. We call this program P.A.T. which stands for parents are teachers. Most of our books are donated and they usually are in english Many of our families are Spanish speaking and they need Spanish books to read to their children. I chose books that are classic stories. How great that they are translated into Spanish! This addition of books will help my parents instill in their children a love of reading. Our school is out for the summer. It would be great if they had new books to look at in the fall. Thank you for considering my project.
