My Kindergarteners spend a lot of time during our day on our classroom carpet. The children gather on the carpet for morning meetings, calendar, center "hands on" play, block building, math activities, reading books, singing, dancing, science activities and peer socializing. It is a space that is much more comfortable than the cold tile floor. Our current classroom carpet is over 10 years old and is faded and fraying at the edges. We definitely are in need of a new, warm, inviting space to gather and learn. A colorful, soft carpet will inspire these young, creative minds throughout the day!
