The donations will be used to benefit students reading comprehension skills, math skills, as well as science/social studies knowledge. My goal is to use the resources that are donated to build up my classroom to give students resources to grow and learn. The reading comprehension resources will help students with their reading skills and developing phonemic awareness skills. The math resources will help students practice their math skills and create a greater knowledge of number sense. The life cycle books will help students learn about different life cycles as well as compare them to others. Since I am a first year teacher my classroom library will slowly but surely build up over the years- the books will help with that process to give students to opportunity to read a variety of books. By donating to this project students will be able to improve reading & math skills as well as increasing student growth in the classroom.
