These Scholastic magazines will encourage my students to read in Spanish. They are written at a beginning level, which is appropriate for my students' reading level in Spanish. They are also in full color, with captivating and motivating pictures to support the written text. Students will be encouraged to use the articles in the Scholastic magazines as a starting point to classroom discussions, and will eventually build to higher Spanish reading levels and literacy skills. Students may access the texts independently or with a partner. I am looking forward to using these magazines with my students this coming school year!
