Chromebooks will allow my students with Autism to be independent and actively engaged in learning. My students love to use the internet to do research and showcase their learning through the use of websites such as My Simple Show, Powtoon, and Prezi. Having chromebooks in my classroom will also allow my students to work independently on websites such as wizer.me and USA Test prep. They can become more independent and responsible for their own learning through the use of websites such as Readworks and Readtheory which allows them to monitor their own progress. My students with Autism are creative thinkers and learners. Having access to Chromebooks will allow them to grow and develop into independent learners and be more actively engaged in their education.
