Many students have difficulty reading at the college level. Amsco, US History, Preparing for the AP exam is a supplemental textbook/resource that provides help and resources to support students. By providing them with the resources to supplement the textbook, they have a better chance of understanding the material. This text also provides test prep and support for students that want to challenge themselves, and prepare for college, but find themselves at a disadvantage skill wise. By using this book along with their textbook, I am hoping to provide students with the support they need to be successful in learning the skills they need to enter college. College is so competitive, and we need to provide motivated students with the tools they need to be successful.
