In a public school setting, I work with a racially and academically diverse group of fourth grade students in a high poverty district. Helping my students make connections to themselves, academic content, and the world continues to be my number one goal. Connecting their knowledge of the skills taught and those intuitively understood, will give my students the opportunity to consciously choose their own paths later in life.
