I am very much hoping to bring 3D printing technology to not only my classroom but the whole school. A Makerbot 3D printer will allow for hand-ons lessons in science, technology, engineering, and math. 3D printing enables students to exercise their imaginations, as well as practice the 21st-century skills of creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving. These printers are used in engineering, robotics, medical fields, aeronautics, etc. By giving the students the opportunity to work with this amazing technology at an early age, we are helping to better prepare them for the future job market. The Makerbot is not only a top-rated 3D printer, but the printer is also supported by Thingiverse, the largest 3D printing community. Students can connect with schools all over the world to post questions and share designs. Please consider supporting our project. Thank you!
