These classroom carpets will make an amazing difference in our learning environment! We often hear students complaining about not having room and not being able to concentrate when they are learning at the rug. With twenty five students on the carpet at a time in each classroom, there are just too many opportunities for distraction and staying focused becomes a struggle. With a second classroom carpet in each room, students will not have to worry about other students being to close too them and getting distracted. These carpets will help our class in so many different ways. It is important to us that we take our large group of students and split it into smaller groups of children. These two new carpets will let us work with four smaller groups of children and this will promote engagement and learning for our students. Our students will use these carpets multiple times a day not only for mini lessons in Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies, but also during morning meetings, closing circles, mindfulness, for different class team building and more!
