My reading students have struggled to pass the state reading test for most for their entire educational career. There are many factors in my students' lives which prevent them from meeting this benchmark which I cannot change. However, there is one I can. Vocabulary Knowledge. The Vocabulary Builder Workbook arranges high level vocabulary into genres and presents it to the students in context, which is proven to be the most effective way of learning new words and phrases. A strong vocabulary foundation will help my students in many ways. It will strengthen their writing, FSA & SAT test scores, reading comprehension, and future success in any endeavor they choose to pursue after high school. We would greatly appreciate any and all help you could provide in getting these books to our classroom.
