Imagine being inspired to make a change in the world! The book "Real Kids, Real Stories, Real Change" is a compelling, inspiring, and poignant book which features kids and teens who used their wit, their hearts, their character, their courage, and most times endless perseverance to help others and the environment. My goal is for my students to ask themselves, "What kind of change-maker can I Be?" These books will also be used to explore many of the environmental issues that we currently face and have open debates on ways in which we can make a difference. Ultimately, I want my students to see themselves in these kids and realize that they can also make an impact in their communities and essentially the world, despite the adversities they face.
