Imagine entering a mega fun Medical STEM lab but realizing you don't have a place to sit. My students greatly enjoy coming to my STEM lab once a week but hate having to stand the whole time. We have four tall lab tables, but the chairs are too short. I've noticed my students work hard and are actively engaged until about midway through our time. Legs and backs begin to ache and attention to their projects seem to simmer off. The students and I believe if they were to each have a stool to sit on that this would help their concentration and increase productivity.
