These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because making models allows the invisible to become visible. Using the poster board, the students can show what they know. They can use the markers and colored paper to make their models colorful as the brain tends to remember concepts when color is incorporated. The post-it notes will assist students as they progress toward their final models. They are able to take their knowledge and place it on paper. Students will be able to modify their models as new learning is acquired. With these materials, students will be able to develop, devise, monitor, and revise to show essential learning and mastery of standards. Scientific Engineering Practices (SEPs) are essential concepts for students to master and understand; through the use of models, they can show what they know. Through your donation, you can make a difference in a student's learning and knowledge base in science. The students and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in this classroom.
