The Chromebooks I am requesting will be used for many different aspects of my classroom that enhance student learning. To start, not all students in my school have access to their own technology. While there are plenty of students who do, I want to be able to provide for all of my students, regardless of what their circumstances outside of my classroom may be. Students will be able to complete assignments and assessments online, participate in active learning activities such as Quizziz Live, Kahoot, and Socrative. Students will also be able to utilize sites such as Google Classroom, which is linked to my personal online classroom, so that students can submit assignments and work on other assignments all online. All of these sites allow me to review student work much more quickly than that of traditional pencil and paper assessments. While pencil and paper assessments provide data to help me structure my instruction, when the assessments are completed online, it provides me with much more specific data as to where each student need help.
