Discovery and Exploration is the cornerstone of preschool learning. Our students love to dig, stack, sort, and compare items within our learning environment. Natural materials within the classroom fosters natural exploration in students' lives. Having these materials in the classroom will foster the children's natural curiosity and love for learning. These items will be used within our classroom and extend to our outside time for intentional learning opportunities. We will use the natural items to develop language skills, having students tell about each item. Students will sort, pattern, sequence, and count items which will foster early math and literacy skills.
