Many of my students have ADHD, Autism, and Down syndrome, and they have difficulty sitting still in regular chairs. I want them to feel safe and comfortable to practice their skills in my classroom, and having wiggle stools can help with this. I believe my students will by more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given the opportunity to sit on stools that allow for some movement. I believe they will have more success in learning the specific skills we are working on if they are comfortable with me and in their environment.
