The students in my school are striving to be scientific thinkers and problem solvers. That is the mission of our school. In previous years, I taught second grade and enjoyed creating fun lessons for my 7 year-olds. This year I decided to make a huge jump to 7th grade English. This is a step that I do not regret. In seventh grade I can see young adults starting to come into their own and make important decisions for themselves. I can make very detailed lessons and projects for them to add their creative spark. Of course, my favorite thing to do is provide my students with high quality literature. Doing so has been difficult. I teach about 75 students and my library is mostly from 2nd grade. I have been fortunate enough to have had 60 books donated in the fall from Donors Choose. I often buy books on sale and at garage sales. I would love your help to provide my classes with great books.
