Technology is going to be a part of our world in the future but right now, there aren't a lot of tools for special needs students to access technology. I would like six, durable, Fire tablets for our Special Needs students to be able to access the same technology resources as their peers. We will use the Kindle Fires to help students access sensory friendly websites that help them learn Math, Science and Life Skills that are on target with their learning goals. Because the tablets are in padded cases, our students with limited motor skills will be able to handle them in whatever way is easy for them.
