My students would really benefit from sensory items like the "chewies" and chair bands to help them concentrate during instruction time. Organization has been something incredibly hard to instill in my students. The mailbox system will help keep data and materials in one place and (hopefully) make things a little less chaotic during transition times. I want to be able to provide my students with all of the tools, materials and opportunities that I can in order to help them succeed. I strongly believe that each of these items will boost their confidence and show them that their disabilities are merely obstacles that they have to learn to cope with. These resources will help them do just that!
