I want to create a welcoming environment for my upcoming class with new tables and chairs instead of desks. We are a small, rural school where funds for new furniture are not available. My students will be working together in groups on various projects. We will also have a new science curriculum that is project based and will encourage collaborative learning. Tables and chairs will make this easier to accomplish. I use technology on a daily basis and want my students to have the opportunity to help each other learn new programs while working together. My students will be surprised to walk into my classroom in August and see new tables and chairs! It would be an awesome blessing if DonorsChoose.org can make this happen!
