As Middle Schoolers my students face a variety of issues each day when they walk in my classroom. I love the opportunity to provide them with a leveled and highly engaging classroom library to transport them out of their own world for just a little bit each day. Half the battle with teaching Middle School Language Arts is finding books that engage students long enough to teach the content and skills that are necessary to prepare them for high school. In addition to constantly encouraging my student to read, I am always reading as well so that I can improve my craft and help to motivate them.
