Middle school students are always interested in the world around them. They have a LOT to say! In our technology class, I will ask them to research issues, collaborate with their classmates, write and edit scripts, and produce high-quality school news and features videos. The green screen and lighting kit (along with the iPad stand to securely hold our iPads) will allow students to unleash their imaginations and develop collaborative leadership while creating their video news. By donating to our project, you will help my students produce visually engaging multi-media news that they will be proud to show to their friends and family, their school, and district. The products I have selected are the missing piece to creating exciting videos that my students will be proud to show to the world. We have five iPads and the apps we need for production; now we need the higher quality lighting and screen and a way to keep the iPad still while filming!
