Students today are not only interacting with each other in different ways, but they are interacting with the world around them in new ways. Schools and classrooms should keep pace with the evolution of our students. So I'd like to create a classroom environment where students can choose their seating. I would first like to start by focusing on creating a section in my classroom with high seating using these adjustable desks. Students thrive when they take ownership of their own learning and these desks will help students to choose not only where they'd like to learn in the classroom but influence how. Having a section where students can choose to stand or use tables that are higher than the traditional desk, will allow them to take more ownership of their learning which will increase productivity and engagement.
