I would like to allow students the flexibility to stand while they are working on class material. Unfortunately, students are asked to sit during a large portion of their day and many need to move around more often. If students are able to get out some of their physical energy by standing up, they can focus their mental energy on the material we are working on in class. Stand-up desks will allow them to continue working while still completing class assignments. Having two will still allow students to collaborate while working in pairs. These desks will make for a productive classroom and provide students with the flexibility they need to get their work done in a setting that supports them and their needs.
