Research shows that students who read frequently, achieve more academically. By providing my students with engaging texts, their desire to read will sky-rocket, along with an increase in vocabulary, higher-level thinking, and a love for reading. Students who excel at reading become more successful in life. I'd love to expose my students to new and exciting texts that would bring that love for reading come alive! With the variety of texts this project would provide, from the Magical world of Harry Potter to Shel Silverstein's rhythmical poems, my students would be able to experience a variety of texts come alive! Contributing to my classroom library will put my students on the path to success.
