Over half of the American workforce are paid on an hourly basis. This means that they are clocking in and out on a daily basis. I want to run my classroom like a simulation of a work environment. Creating a clock-in station (using a tablet and tablet desk mount), students will get that feeling the moment they walk in. To accomplish this, I am looking to fund with this project the purchase of an Amazon Fire tablet (with an added 3 year protection program) and an AboveTEK Retail Kiosk swivel stand. In my business classroom, a lot of time is spent working on project-based learning. As the manager, commonly referred to as "teacher", it is my job to delegate projects to my workers. When students jump into instructional videos, it isn't very helpful to their learning to have ten different videos competing to be heard. My students need headphones so that they can watch videos and learn what is relevant to their projects, and tune out what others are doing. I have chosen the Sony ZX series because of their quality and materials. I wanted to make sure they could be easily wiped down and sanitized. They also need a couple of audio splitters so that small groups can watch videos together. I am including two AmazonBasics 5-Way Multi Headphone Splitters.
