An interactive whiteboard will allow my students to not only write on the board, but they can also manipulate objects on the screen. Students are presented with hands-on materials and can take control of their learning. The MimioTeach I am requesting for my classroom is mobile, so I can move it to any existing whiteboard to best cater to my students' needs. The interactive whiteboard makes learning come to life! The information on the interactive whiteboard can be saved and used again later which eliminates the need for paper and pencil note taking and increase students' discussion. By implementing an interactive whiteboard in my classroom, it is my hopes to improve learning, communication, and collaboration.
