Hot dots resources are perfect for my many students who have learning difficulties as they find it hard to focus and maintain attention for long periods of time. Due to the novelty and hands on nature of these resources this assists them to concentrate for longer periods of time. Being in 3rd grade and due to the immense amount of testing students go through it is especially important that learning is as meaningful as possible. I have found and evidence suggests that creating and using materials and activities that are kinesthetic in nature assists students with these issues to maintain focus for longer periods of time.
