My school is Title 1 in a rural community of Alabama. Approximately 80% of our students are on free or reduced lunch. Many of our students come from single parent family homes, with very little monetary support. My Kindergarteners are very loving and happy kids and love to be at school. For so many of my students, school is their happy and secure place.
