During our expanded small group times and indoor recess times we will use these activities to focus on social skills including, sharing, turn-taking, self-awareness, responsibility, kindness and others as well as using the content of the activities to focus on mathematics and language arts skills. The students will have the opportunity to play these games while at the same time develop the skills of being able to interact with others in a positive and kind way. The materials will be used on a daily basis to expand our academic learning, currently only done through our curriculum and text book materials. All students will a have an opportunity to participate in using these materials on weekly and/or daily basis.
