The preschool students in my classroom are eager to explore and learn about the world around them. I am a teacher because I love seeing their faces light up with excitement when they discover something new. My students come from low-income families and I want to equip them as best as I can for their future. What an honor and a responsibility it is to be the teacher who builds the foundation for their education. I want them to learn from an early age that school is a safe place.
