My wonderful kindergarteners come in each day excited to see their friends and see what we are doing for the day. They come from all over the world. I teach at a very diverse school in Houston, TX. We have a high percentage of English Language Learner's. Our diverse population of students speak over forty different languages. For many students this is their first experience in an American classroom. I have students with varying needs. Some of the needs include ADHD, autism, second language learners, working below level, high achieving/gifted learners, and now trauma due to our area being hit by hurricane Harvey. No matter what challenges they face they come to school wanting to learn. They all love to learn!
