Our students have one-to-one Chromebooks with plenty of supplemental programs. We also have a well-rounded reading curriculum with plenty of worksheets and paper-based learning activities. The only thing missing from our reading time is hands on activities students can do to further their understanding of phonics, writing, sight words, and reading comprehension. These learning centers will give students a way to interact with others while working to improve their English/Language Arts skills. The students will use these centers as a supplement to continue practicing skills all year. The included items are: over 30 reading and phonics games, 2 sight word activities, and a story starting center.
