My students are hard workers but have many challenges both in and out of the classroom. A large part of presenting lessons as a Traveling Resource Teacher, is to carry learning materials with me. By having access to ChromeBooks and tablets, they will be able to play learning games, and practice needed computer and academic skills required for future success. The addition of technology would give my students a much needed boost and practice in all academic areas. Having not been supplied electronic technology my special education students are additionally hindered in their development. This is the best way to gain and hold a child's attention. Having my own equipment would allow me the ability to plan, carry out and present needed learning concepts, while providing young learners with digital devices to play , learn and become prepared for life. Special needs students should not be denied the digital landscape of the 21st Century. .
