My students are typical kindergartners! They need movement. I try to have short meetings at circle time to provide information and then have them work in teams, partners or individually on their projects. My students do not sit in their chairs. I know they need movement so I allow them to sit on the ground, stand or sit in the chair. My students LOVE to move! Because of asynchronous development, my students can think high level, but they still are the movement necessary for six-year-olds. We need 5 wobble stools for our table work center. This would allow students to have a spot to sit...but still move while they work. I can't wait to get these items to provide the students with alternative seating.
