I want my students to have alternative seating to provide a comfortable environment that addresses their varying needs for movement. We have inflatable seating discs. These work for some of my students, but they don’t work for everyone. My students deserve more options. I hope that these tools will help them feel valued and understood. The students need alternative seating options to avoid unsafe use of standard chairs. A safe way for my students to achieve the movement they need is to have additional seating options with Balance Balls, Wobble chairs, and Bouncy bands. These will provide some tools for them to keep their attention on their learning without the distractions of restrictive seating.
