There are many resources to explore virtual lab experiments that we can't perform in a our high school Chemistry lab either due to lack of supplies or safety concerns. These lab animations are very engaging visuals for our students. Students can perform virtual labs with Apple iPads safely and easily with a bonus of being able to manipulate the variables as many times as necessary to satisfy their hypothesis. The iPads also make it easy for my English language learners to quickly and easily translate words and phrases they don't understand with google translate. These are valuable tools for our classroom.
