I am asking for help in supplying my students with a community rug for learning in a large group. This is an area in the classroom we use throughout the day and share in most learning experiences. By having a community rug with designated spaces, it will allow easier transitions to engage the students in more learning as well as create a fun learning environment to build on our "learning is an adventure" camping themed classroom. Kindergarteners are busy and often need boundaries. This classroom rug will help them learn and grow socially with physical boundaries teaching personal space, as well as educationally by maintaining their focus throughout lessons.
