We need new equipment to keep up with the award winning students. The current equipment, though we are tremendously thankful for its longevity, is older than most of the students. Repair takes and cost much more than we have and new equipment can help reduce that expense. The Remo, Vic Firth, and Evans companies make great products that we can put to good use. With newer equipment, students can focus on learning and progressing their musicianship, instead of drum health and structure. Our goal is to create opportunities for students to audition for scholarships and compete nationally in drum competitions. We have the opportunities and talent, we are still working the equipment.
