Field trips are a wonderful way to make history come alive for students. Since I teach ancient history, the cost of air fare and the time needed to travel to the far away places we study is impossible for us. I often use videos and online virtual field trips as in class field trips through time to make history more real to students. I am asking for much needed headphones for my students to use. Our school has enough Chromebooks for each student to have their own but not enough headphones. By using headphones, students will have a more personal experience as they can "tour" at their own pace instead of the whole group pace.
