By having art supplies available to students, they can truly take ownership in the visual presentation of their knowledge in both science and history. In such a technological age, students are having less and less time to explore and present their research through other mediums. Creating art has always been a part of our past as a way of teaching others and imparting knowledge to future generations. My idea is to create an art center stocked with crayons, oil pastels, paint and colored pencils where my students can choose to do art as a way to express themselves but to also spark their imaginations and creativity. These supplies will help me complete my art center and truly give students an opportunity to expand their creativity skills. Help me to allow my students the ability to use their imagination and creativity to proudly express their knowledge.
