This design promotes engagement and ownership of the classroom, and creates an environment based on mutual respect. Flexible seating is an inclusive, student-centered way to encourage engagement and self-advocacy. Like choosing your seat at a coffee shop, students will enjoy comfort and a feeling of belonging.
