In the world language classroom, students participate in partner and group activities that allow them to practice presentational and interpersonal communication skills. The new tables will allow the students to move with ease when they conduct interpersonal learning activities as well as collaborative, project-based learning tasks. Sitting down on the tables and seeing their peers eye to eye will allow for in-depth conversations of a lesson/ theme. Often students need to master the skills of listening and speaking. Everyone is important, all opinions matter and if students sit around a table they will learn proper discourse which will be guided by an objective in our world language class.
